Michael Parent


Michael Parent is a management consultant and Principal of Michael Parent Consulting Services. Throughout his career, Michael has coached executives through strategic problem solving, operational excellence and execution and has led continuous improvement projects in a myriad of industries and disciplines such as Manufacturing, Insurance, Product Development, and Human Resources. 

Michael has written several articles which have been published in peer-reviewed industry journals and websites, as well as a book on the intersection of Lean and Human Centered Design. 
Likewise, Michael has participated as a guest and expert on podcasts such as “The Gemba Academy Podcast” and “The Lean Blog Podcast with Mark Graban”. 

Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an MBA from the College of William and Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business in Williamsburg VA. Michael is a certified Lean and Six Sigma Master Black Belt and an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Operational Excellence. Michael was named a 40 Under 40 "Rising Star" by the American Society for Quality.

David Larsen


David is a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional, certified Project Management Professional (PMP ®), Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, writer and podcast guest with more than 20 years of experience in human resources, healthcare, manufacturing, quality and process improvement. 

David is recognized by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Subject Matter Expert and collaborates with the ASQ Quality Management Division Technical Community as the Deputy Publications Editor. Success comes from challenging the current state and asking tough questions. He coaches and develops others while practicing servant leadership; striving to establish collaborative and trustful relationships with individuals at all levels. 

He has experience leading large and complex cross functional project teams, mentoring leaders and front-line team members, and facilitating for success. A principle that he believes to be fundamental is learning to take every challenge as either a gateway to success or an opportunity to learn.
